Vanguard Staff

Vanguard has an appraisal staff of over 25 appraisers with a combined total of over 250 years of experience in the mass appraisal profession. The appraisal staff includes seven Certified General appraisers who oversee numerous appraisal associates. We also have our own computer department consisting of six full- time qualified programmers with a combined total of over 70 years programming for mass appraisal application. Our computer department also consists of 12 technical assistance people to guide you through any hardware and software questions. In addition to those employees, we have various office personnel supervised by office managers with over 100 years of experience.

Message Eric Kruse

Eric has been employed with Vanguard Appraisals since 1993 and has been involved in all facets of the appraisal operations throughout his career. He has held several management positions within the company, including Project Manager, Regional Appraisal Manager, Operations Manager, Vice President of Appraisal Operations, and currently President. During his tenure with Vanguard, Eric has appraised all property types including residential, commercial, and industrial properties in the states of Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, and South Dakota. He holds the ICA, CMA, & SDCAA designations. Eric is also a Certified General Appraiser in Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, & South Dakota.

Brad Miller

Message Brad Miller

Brad has been with Vanguard since 1989. He is the Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer, and is responsible for the implementation of all projects. Brad holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics and has been involved in custom programming of the Vanguard Computers Systems and customer relations for clients in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and South Dakota.

Scott has been with Vanguard since 2015. He is responsible for the financial and employee benefits operations. Scott is the corporate Secretary/Treasurer and certified as a public accountant with membership in the ISCPA.
