Vanguard Staff

Vanguard has an appraisal staff of over 25 appraisers with a combined total of over 250 years of experience in the mass appraisal profession. The appraisal staff includes seven Certified General appraisers who oversee numerous appraisal associates. We also have our own computer department consisting of six full- time qualified programmers with a combined total of over 70 years programming for mass appraisal application. Our computer department also consists of 12 technical assistance people to guide you through any hardware and software questions. In addition to those employees, we have various office personnel supervised by office managers with over 100 years of experience.

Message Bob Ehler

Bob has been with Vanguard since 1980 and has been involved in project management and commercial/industrial appraisals in Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Bob is the President of Vanguard. He holds the ASA, ICA, and CMA designations. Bob is also a Wisconsin Level II Assessor and is qualified as an expert witness in court testimony. Bob was in charge of updating the costs in the Iowa Real Property Appraisal Manual for the Iowa Department of Revenue and Finance for 1998 completion and again in 2007 for a 2008 completion. Bob is a Certified General Appraiser.

Message Brad Miller

Brad has been with Vanguard since 1989. He is the Senior Vice President - Chief Information Officer, and is responsible for the implementation of all projects. Brad holds a degree in Computer Science and Economics and has been involved in custom programming of the Vanguard Computers Systems and customer relations for clients in Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, and South Dakota.

Scott has been with Vanguard since 2015. He is responsible for the financial and employee benefits operations. Scott is the corporate Secretary/Treasurer and certified as a public accountant with membership in the ISCPA.
